Youth play a pivotal role in achieving sustainable peace. Every child has the potential to be an Ambassador for change, steering away from violence and intergenerational trauma passed down through conflict and displacement. Recognizing their abilities, we nurture and develop a breadth of skills through play that empowers children to become agents of their own lives, and positive contributors to their respective communities.
Play transcends cultural, socio-economic, and political boundaries and borders. In our safe learning spaces, children are guided through lesson plans from our Rainbow of Education that incorporates structured play alongside kids yoga, mindfulness education, reading, creative writing, art therapy, music, relaxation exercises, fitness, and fun. We aim to channel inner strength, positivity, creativity, and cultivate a sense of inner peace that will ultimately help children develop concentration, self-confidence, self-worth, and the resiliency needed to be positive agents of peace in both their present and future.
Amal Alliance is currently an 100% voluntary led organization, which means that 100% of all donations received go directly to the programs serving the children!
